Housed in a stunning Venetian-era building in Syntagma Square in Nafplio, the Archaeological Museum of Nafplio is one of the most important museums in the Peloponnese. The museum's exhibition presents artifacts spanning from the Neolithic period to the Roman era, offering visitors an in-depth look at the rich history of Argolis and the Mycenaean civilization.

For a glimpse into traditional Greek life, the Folklore Museum of Nafplio is the ideal experience. Founded in 1974, it highlights daily life, customs and traditions of the 18th and 19th centuries, giving visitors a sense of how people in Nafplio and the Peloponnese lived in the past, with its collection including 25,000 objects.

The War Museum of Nafplio is housed in the old Evelpidon School (the first Military School of Greece), in a 19th century building, presenting the military history of Greece from the Greek Revolution to modern conflicts such as World War I, as well as the participation of the inhabitants of Argolis in the events. This museum offers a fascinating perspective on the sacrifices and heroism of the Greek people throughout our history.

The Byzantine Museum of the region is located in Argos and housed in the historic Kapodistria Barracks, it is dedicated to the art and history of the Byzantine era in Argolida. Its collections extend from the 4th to the 15th century, presenting the daily life of the inhabitants and the heritage of medieval Greece. Truly a unique museum in the region!
